Company name: Stockton Folk Dance Camp
This is a yearly event lasting two weeks and held in Stockton California at the University of the Pacific. International folk dancers gather from around the world to learn dances from premier dance instructors. Non-stop dancing from 8:00 AM until the wee hours of the morning! Long history - established in 1948. Please visit wwww.folkdancecamp.org for more information
Our industry: Education
Top Three Things to Communicate through our Logo:
#1 - Dances from around the world
#2 - Non-stop activity, entertainment
#3 - Friendships, connections, good exercise, a welcoming community of dancers
Our Target Market:
Active dancers age 18-90. Tend to be well-educated, tend to be politically liberal. More women attend this event, but we would like to attract more men. Check the website www.folkdancecamp.org for photos and more information. We want to emphasis the FOLK DANCE part of our name, not the STOCKTON part...
Styles that we are interested in:

Values to communicate:
| Feminine | Masculine | |
| Young | Mature | |
| Luxury | Economical | |
| Modern | Classic | |
| Playful | Serious | |
| Loud | Quiet | |
| Simple | Complex | |
| Subtle | Obvious |
Color preferences:
Vibrant eye-catching colors but not garish. Green/blue better than red/orange. Many of our advertisements needs to appear in black and white so logo should print clearly without adjustment in black and white.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
If figures of dancers are used (and that is not require), the figures should not be in any particular costume.
Where we will use the Logo:

Logo designer | October 22nd, 2011, 8:09pm It amazes me the number of "DESIGNERS" who steal design ideas and elements from others. |
Contest holder | October 23rd, 2011, 11:32pm We all agree! Rest assured the tactic did not work! |
