Roc-Core / DT Communications - logo design contest

The business consists of two different companies that recent just merged. Roc Core represents the DATA ( Network side ), which essentially handles IT Solutions for small business of 50-150 peoples on average. DTC ( DTech Communications) handles the Voice of Internet Provider, which offers support and sales to the new emerging telephone solutions. Think Vonage but for Businesses. The merge of the company offers a combined service from both industries all in one package. The customers can count on Roc Core/DTC for a one stop solution for all Network related services.

I would like for the logo to be versatile, where it may be flipped on a business car for ROC Core, or flipped for DTC Communications. Same Company with two different services.

The target market are for companies making 1 million to 10 million in gross income. The departments usually consists of 50 to 150 employees, where ROC Core / DTC will service their data/VoIP needs.

The occupations usually varies because we are a service related company. The values of the customer involves quality, efficient, and service. Pricing is not a big factor because the service is still cheaper then hiring a IT department.

Are ones the demonstrate class, quality, and modern.

Light greys, blacks, reds, whites and blues. Anyone combination that flows really well. The BMW logo offers colors that are portraying the same message.

Using the uploaded photo, you can see its a box within a box as a reference. PLEASE SPIN OFF THIS IDEA AND INCORPORATE SOMETHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH COMMUNICATION / DATA / NETWORK (IN/ON/AROUND/ON TOP ETC..) THE LOGO. This way Customers will not think that the logo is a shipping or box company.

The idea is that Roc Core and DTC, ( Data and VoIP ) are all in one package. The logo below can be universal between the VoIP side and Data side if we were to place it on a customers web screen. Most logos will go on someones computer screen so they will see often.

Clean, Modern, Simple. Think something like a "Greek Square"
