Just wanted clarify... The Quarter is a "shortened" version/way to say The French Quarter, the lively, colorful, section of New Orleans, LA, known for food, drinks, and music, primarily jazz music.
I get the feeling that designers still don't quite understand what we are looking for. We are looking for a colorful, lively, fun, and memorable logo to match the feeling and mood of the city of New Orleans. Do you have any questions for us that may help clear up any of that?
I'm thinking it might be beneficial to point out particular aspects that you do like about a given design as well as aspects/features you do not like. That would include feedback to entries marked "Not Interested". It helps designers to know they are being looked at and it helps all stakeholders to have clearer thinking moving forward.
@kgar2121 - During this Judging phase of your contest, you can work with any designer you temporarily rank in 1st place to bring about minor changes to existing designs. If you want to see such revisions from more than one designer you can re-rank a new designer into the 1st place position. Do this as many times as you need and then do a final ranking to choose your top three designers and close out your contest.
