Logo contest: Project Worx

What we do:

My business is a multifaceted mix of talents. I am a trained mechanical engineer with several years of experience in multiple fields. I am trying to start a creative spin on typical mundane projects. My company will be doing photoshop alterations for home projects, product design, project management, construction, consulting, and technical/architectural representations of projects our customers want to visualize. Even if the company can not do the project itself, we will manage all the tangential items (i.e., permitting, drawings, contracting, etc.). So the customer isn't wasting their valuable time trying to manage it themselves.

My target market is individuals, contractors, or companies interested in technical projects such as drafting, surveying, problem-solving, mechanical, and product design. These customers would be more manufacturing, oil and gas, contractors needing engineering expertise, etc. In addition, I am also targeting customers that are new homeowners, homeowners wanting to remodel their home, home office, closet organization, and cabinetry. These customers would be your middle-aged professionals.

I will leave that up to the designer. We can always work on colors at the end of the project. The colors need to be professional with a solid accent color. I would think a maximum of three colors would be the most of the design may get too busy, but if it makes sense to add additional colors, please add them to your submission. I have done multiple contests, and the first round is more about the substance/design. The colors can be discussed afterward with the designer. I will also comment as I am ranking the submissions.

I want to make sure the logo doesn't depict architectural ideas because I am not a home builder. Instead, I am a technical designer who can solve challenging problems creatively. Also, my business is multifaceted, so I have to serve a broad array of customers with multiple needs.
