Color preferences:
I prefer modern fluo-like green, orange and blue, on darker (grey-like?) background. I'd like to see both combinations and 1-color designs.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
There are two possible font usages I like: one being a sort of calligraphy script, the other being industrial grunge (like Weltron Urban, eg.). I'd like to see 3 different experiments for the logo: a) my initials: JDM; b) my full name: Jelle De Moor; c) an abstract sign. A combination of the above might be interesting as well. I'd like something not too complex. I'm very fond of both futuristic and mystical type logo's. Some stuff I like (logo) as featured on Creaticca: Avatar, Midnight Espresso, Wild Lookout, Wineforest, The Post Office, OYA Energy, Alatau, Inferno Design, Foxeffect, Negative Reality, All of Sergey Shapiro's designs, Rweb; quite a few doings by WeThePrinters. I think you'll get the general idea :)

Here are some helpful tips for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses.
Rank design entries daily, this will encourage participation.
It is non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see
(you can do so by clicking on the logo you want to give feedback to).
It will also guide the designers in the right direction.
Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
Designers earn points for top 10 ranked designs. We recommend ranking different
designers for top ranks, It encourages more participation.
The LogoArena design community wants you to get the best possible logo for your business.
General tip: the "D" in my last name is always capital. It is common for Belgium... rather uncommon for the rest of the world, I know... But try to keep this in mind when using my letter combination in a logo... I've seen quite a lot already using a small "d" instead.
To ALL: I have to leave without access to internet until late monday, so won't be able to rank until the contest goes into judging mode. For the ones still wanting to add propositions: go ahead, good luck, and PLEASE refrain from using a small "d" :)
Judging update: we're down to the current top 35 entries, after ranking all that came in during my absence and the close of the competition. We're going on with these 35, ranking updates will follow... (it's getting harder: I've included my wife in the judging...)
