Our Ideas and Additional Information:
I'm looking to design a logo for my books, a young adult fantasy novel series called
(Added on 2015-04-29 00:00):
"Catians" is a teen fantasy novel series about three teens who are given superpowers by cats. These powers allow them to transform into humanoid cats that control the elements (see the attached artwork). The powers are granted by a stone that is embedded in the user's forehead (see the attached artwork).
The element groups are as follows:
1) plant+water (green stone)
2) fire+earth (red stone)
3) electricity+air (blue stone)
A good logo would combine feline mystique and elemental powers. The logo should say "Catians" but I'd like it to include an abstract or pictorial image, which can be a part of the word or separate from it.

Here's a cool example of a typeface customized to fit the book: http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1387577872l/19549841.jpg
The book is about dragons and the typeface seems dragon-like.

Here is a quick mockup of my cover with placeholder elements so that you can test your design if you want (please ignore the font selections):

Note that the selected logo design will also be used in the interior of the book (e.g. on the cover page).

Since this got cut off from my original description, I'm going to post it again here:

Designers, just to clarify, you can use the mock-up template to test your design but do not post that here: post only the logo design as per our site rules and upload guidelines once you are satisfied with the results of your mock-up test. Again, do not post the mock-ups here.>
