Our Ideas and Additional Information:
Looking to avoid most "law" cliches. Would prefer text based designs and/or web 2.0 style designs that mostly evoke professional and modern feel. May be interested in hammer and gavel design for "law" and "diy" theme of business, but this is not necessary. Logo will primarily be used for website, business cards, itunes/podcasts, and social media.

So far, I'm leaning towards designs like #5 and #6. I definitely think more text based and no images is preferred. After looking at all the colors, I think I'm definitely not beholden to the color codes listed in the contest brief (#166A8F and #2DBE60). I still like those colors, but I'm open to some creative suggestions. I do like the orange within the design. Also, I definitely think the serif fonts are more of what I'm looking for.
Great entries so far. I'm really liking the variety of text based logos. I like the idea of a letter based symbol like on #6 or #25, but I still haven't seen one quite perfect just yet. After seeing things and reviewing further, I think I am leaning away from images in the logo. For some variety, I would like to see some color options with #0D254C and/or #C80815 in it. I'm also open to some additional designs without orange, and including any professional looking color combo you can think of.
