Vilmo’s Pizzeria is a family restaurant with a rich 50+ year history of its founders serving quality food to generations of customers. It is not uncommon to see a table of an extended family or group of friends sharing a pizza and a pitcher of beer (or soda).

The pizza is prepared in a coal-fired brick oven that is unique in design and in the food that comes out of it. The 15 foot square oven (giant compared to other pizza ovens) reaches temperatures near 1,000 degrees and requires an artesian to properly cook the pizza. The pizzaioli (pizza maker) goes through a thorough training process to ensure the quality of each and every finished product meets the exacting standards of a “Vilmo’s Pizza”.

Vilmo’s has a rich tradition of using only the best ingredients to produce the best pizzas. Farm-fresh tomatoes, hand-made cheeses, select pepperoni and sausage, and other delectable toppings are used to create the best pizza you’ll ever have.

The menu is focused on the thin crusted pizza - not pizza lost on a full restaurant menu with pages and pages of choices. Add a salad to start, and choose a drink from the carefully developed (but ever changing) beverage menu and your meal is perfect every time.

The wait staff prides itself on making every customer – a first-time diner or a regular – feel like they are part of the Vilmo’s family. You’ll be seated in the middle of the action, watching the pizzas being prepared and put into the oven with longest pizza peel you’ve ever seen.

Vilmo’s is named after the restaurant’s patriarch (Vilmo Fonte), who moved to the United States from Italy as a young teenager in the 1940s. Vilmo had neither the financial means nor the backing, but he worked his way up in the restaurant world to become the proprietor of many successful restaurants. Vilmo’s is the next iteration of the quality food diners have experienced for decades.

The next generation has taken Vilmo’s advice and know-how to create a pizzeria dedicated to serving the same quality food to a new set of pizza aficionados.
