What we do:

We are a startup that is launching a online platform allowing the user the ability to cite facts before they can even input the question. We are putting knowledge before search.

Our target market ranges widely from Students to Teachers to Children. Anyone who ever searched online to confirm a fact, date, or attribute about human history.

The colors I wold like to use is blues, a light blue and dark blue black and white. I would like to see a white background. I am not opposed to trying out different colors or playing around.

I was originally thinking of possibly having the U in front of a globe.

The U should be distinguished and different than the rest of the font. The U represents the knowledge base. So the u alone, should stand out and be a identifiable brand.

The C on Cite should be capitalized. The u should be lowercase.

I am a graphic designer and this has been my startup and my life. Working on this so much, I need some fresh perspectives to look at. I am not totally against changing anything suggested, I encourage creativity.

I would like to have a .psd file also if possible.
