We are a sports complex, restaurant and resort located in the Southern Baja north of Cabo San Lucas in a pro-actively healthy sleepy little Mexican town called Los Barriles. We cater to pickleball players and clubs from all over the world looking to vacation and/or winter in the perfect climate, next to the Sea of Cortez. The sport of pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the world today and members currently living in our town and visiting will come to our court facility, play pickle, compete, train, attend boot camps on our courts. Pickleball is known to be a very social yet competitive sport. The game itself is a combination of 3 games, tennis, ping pong and racquet ball. The game is very well suited to young and older players alike. Tres Palapas Baja (in rendering now) is a pickleball resort park, with restaurant and 3rd phase plans for a spa. While the park is in the desert, there are mountains and the beautiful Sea of Cortez within site. Tres Palapas Baja Pickleball Resort is located in the absolutely perfect retirement, vacation seaside community. We have beautiful desert, sunshine 350 days per year, a very safe and swimmable Sea of Cortez with the largest natural reefs in the western hemisphere, cycling, mountains and hiking and all at a very affordable Mexican cost.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:
No ideas but stuck on the name a little bit. Tres Palapas is the name of the building we have recently purchased and are going to renovate for the restaurant and clubhouse. We have definitely contemplated changing the name and are open to thoughts in this regard.
A palapa is a grass sort of Mexican roof and there are three of them, as such Tres Palapas.

I would like to point out that a palapa is a thatched type open roof often found in warmer climates, it is typically airy and shelters from the sun.
