We are a company that helps Investors create and build Commercial properties. We let them focus on their own businesses, while we create, build and deliver a Commercial Investment property to them. We focus on large condo buildings, hotels and commercial office/warehouse projects in large towns and small cities. We also help the investor group fill the condo vacancies prior to completion of the project.

Color preferences:
Main color should be a dark blue, something along the lines of RGB: 0,33,71. We would like a splash of a light signature color as well, (nothing like the popular florescent colors everyone is using now though). Possibly a silver steel color or a yellow/gold such as RGB 255,192,0. Open to other good ideas though.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
We need a fairly simple logo without a lot of fine detail which may get lost on a dark background or not translate well to embroidery. We need a logo design that can translate to grayscale, or a version for light backgrounds and a version for dark backgrounds and possible color on color (say for embroidery). We don't just want a steel beam or a creek. While entertaining other options, we would like to see a few options with a

Thank you for work. This is a good start. We would like to stay away from the initials SCD. I don't know that the whole vintage thing will work unless someone has a good idea for one that is fairly professional. We do not do single family houses or skyscrapers. I have added a couple pictures of the type of buildings we do. I like the direction of #1#2 and #5 but without the skyscraper feel of #1 and #5. Our leadership group will meet tonight to re-rank for you all tomorrow, but this will give you some idea. Colors schemes are good and in the ballpark.
#6 is a little too cartoonish and looks like we build houses, however the young energetic look of it draws us to it a bit. Still more drawn to the professional look of the higher ranked items, but something in this style may draw us too if there are some more options that come out.
Colors are great, I think we are in the right ballpark with the blue and golds. The grays wash it out a little too much. Would like to see something with different roofline than a residential house, maybe flat roof commercial building with jut-outs.
I posted 2 new images of rooflines of some Holiday Inn hotels. This is the sort of roofline we would like to see, IF you are incorporating a roofline. Please note that I don't just want all roofline logo's now. Just rather see it than a house rooftop.
By the way, fantastic work, all of you. You are certainly not making this easy. There are many great logo's and probably about a dozen, at this point, that would be fabulous. We'll see what else comes up before the close, then make sure we give this some good thought. Thank you for your work. This is all very good.
Ranked designers, can you show what those designs look like on a dark background, for example when the logo is overlaid over a dark corner of a photo or something.
Because your contest is in judging mode only the top ranked designer can submit new entries. If you want to see specific entries on dark backgrounds you would need to rerank and let that designer know. Thanks.
