Logo contest: SQUIRES PUBLIC RELATIONS

Here are some helpful tips for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses.

1. Rank design entries daily, this will encourage participation. It is non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
2. The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see (you can do so by clicking on the logo you want to give feedback to). It will also guide the designers in the right direction.
3. Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
4. Designers earn points for top 10 ranked designs. We recommend ranking different designers for top ranks, It encourages more participation.

GPDesign, I think what you did was clever but would your designs work with a different font? something like Century Gothic or perhaps another? Also, I prefer the colors in #1 and #2.

Realdreamz, Of yours I like #5 best but I think I'd prefer the last "s" written the normal way. #9 is similar to my sample which is OK. I'd like to see #9 in some other fonts.

Also, if people want to try using different fonts for Squires and public relations that would be OK.

Thanks for the new designs everyone. Does anyone have fonts similar to samplea and/or sampleb they could try? I prefer something simple and easy to read.

I uploaded some more samples to give people more ideas. If you have your own idea for the logo please post it as I am open to different ideas than my example. Feel free to be creative but keep it clean and subtle. Less is more. thanks.

I like the recent designs 41 & 42 but would prefer to see something more modern looking, less formal and traditional.

I have an overall commment that SQUIRES PUBLIC RELATIONS is the name of the business. "PUBLIC RELATIONS" is not a tag line. I am not sure if that will help people in thinking about their design.

#16 - This is like my example. I like this but for some reason I prefer my example better because public relations is easier to read (larger font). I know you are trying to make everything line up but for some reason it loses some personality for me this way.

#37 - Would like to see this in Caps on top and w/o the purple background. Just have SQUIRES in purple, like #59

#59 - good, might prefer century gothic font for this.

#48 - can this be done with SQUIRES in caps and PUBLIC RELATIONS across the bottom, same width as SQUIRES?

#61-63 - thanks for these submissions, I prefer the font to be thinner.

can anyone try a font such as in sample a and sample c of the logo sample sheet I uploaded. Thanks everyone.

I removed the ones with abstract marks because they are more formal than what I would like. They were very good but just not right for what I'm trying to convey. Please keep trying with more variations on plain text logos. Try to think of something simple but quirky and clever you can do. I re-ranked in the general order of preference, but it's not exact. Overall I prefer the ones which are a little more casual and quirky while maintaining a professional image. Thanks everyone for your work.

Thanks for the new submissions everyone. What I'm looking for is an all text logo but which is a little quirky, modern but still professional. Look at sample "b" in the logo samples. The artist created a quirky logo by modifying the fonts, making the "r" longer and modifying the "A". I am hoping for something interesting/quirky like that. Thanks very much.
