Our industry: Sports & Recreation
Top Three Things to Communicate through our Logo:
#1 - Passion for sports cars
#2 - Driving on fantastic tracks
#3 - Social community with like-minded
Our Target Market:
The members are enthusiastic and relatively wealthy people who have the finances to be able to follow their passion and pursue his interest in sports cars and driving on the track and want to experience this in a social community with like-minded. Some of the members are of interest to the media because of their positions or financial situation, and for them it is important that they can rely on our discretion. Several of the members feel more comfortable with us than in the major brand clubs, both because these are large and open, and because several of the members switch brands all the time or have multiple brands.

Color preferences:
We would like a stylistic and modern design with few details and colors. It should send a signal of high quality and cool activities. The logo should not be to wide. It should work on both white and colored and black backgrounds.
Our website: http://www.sadc.no/ The site is closed, but please see attached picture of the very simple site and the picture of the forum.
Please excuse the look of it, we did it ourselves and are absolutely not designers.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
Our new logo should work both on our website and on the Forum. It should also be good for putting on print, as well as on stickers on the side and back of the cars and on t-shirts and jackets.

We are open as to how the logo should look, and welcome all good ideas. Either if is just text set up in a special way or you make design elements around it, on the side or top or bottom.
Design elements could for example be a silhouette of a sports car (maybe Porsche), a part of a racing track/road, wheel, something that shows that speed is involved etc. The members have everything from Porsches to Ferraris and Lamborghinis so it shouldn´t be to obviously attached to just one brand.
Although Sport Auto Driving Club is completely separate it is a little related to Sport Auto Events. (Because some of the same people are involved in the driving club and in the event company). Sport Auto Events tailor make high end motor events for customers, the customers are mainly groups from companies. At this moment there is also a logo competition going on at logomyway for Sport Auto Events. (Only 2 suggestions so far). The logos could have some of the same elements, either font or graphic elements, but we are open for all.
Font: The font that we have used now is called Eurostile, but you don’t have to use this if you have better ideas. The different Porsche fonts are also interesting as well as anything else that works.
Here are some helpful tips for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses.

The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see
(you can do so by clicking on the logo you want to give feedback to).
It will also guide the designers in the right direction.
Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
Designers earn points for top 10 ranked designs. We recommend ranking different
designers for top ranks, It encourages more participation.
The LogoArena design community wants you to get the best possible logo for your business.
We would love to see some more examples of designs where icons and text are disconnected. If possible so that the icon can be used on its own if needed.
Very simple and stylistic is good.
Hi all!
Thanks for all the suggestions we really like several of them. :-)
As you see we prefer simple logos with few details and quite bold font. We also prefer capitol letters in SADC.
One thing we thought of just now is that we go a lot abroad to drive at Nürburgring in Germany or Spa in Belgium. Sometimes it would be nice to be able to show that we are a group from Norway. I dont know how it could ogr would look, but is it possible to include the Norwegian flag or the word Norway?
It might look hideous, but if any of you get som great ideas about how it could be done that would be great. :-)
Anne :-)
