What we do:

This is a mental health, psychotherapy practice serving children, women, families and groups. The main ideas of therapy are growth, healing and containment (like a metaphorical hug). Typical patients include those with depression, divorce recovery, caretaker support, parenting problems, and marriage problems including domestic violence.

It serves the South Orange County, California area. Look at pictures of Laguna Beach and Newport Beach to see the typical, affluent communities that are served.

Most patients that select the practice are 30 to 60 years old. They may be choosing the practice for someone else in their family that is outside of this age range. The area is ethnically caucasian, asian, hispanic, and middle eastern. While this part of the county is traditionally considered politically conservative, it is not part of our ad strategy.

Blues, greens, purples, pinks and black are soothing colors. Please use choices from these hues if possible.

The logo should communicate strength, compassion, and hope or direction. An abstraction of a hug - particularly between a parent and child has come to mind. Use your creativity though. The hug idea isn't a requirement.
