ShopVillages is a new ecommerce Platform geared specifically for community based small businesses. 1. What is ShopVillages?- ShopVillages is an online shopping platform that drives local commerce through inventory transparency and transaction flexibility.

2. What features does ShopVillages offer to my business? – The ShopVillages business model is a platform that offers you three key features to increase your revenues and profits: a. Your store’s categories of products with specific detail selected by you b. A geographical search capability for the local consumer based on a selection of products you’ve listed in your product category list. c. The ability to have flexibility of purchases and delivery for your customers to include pickup at store, delivery or shipment. d. A ecommerce platform that encourages customer experience with a visit to your store.

3. How is ShopVillages any different than other local searches or platforms?- The local small business owner will see four key benefits from the ShopVillages platform: a. Greater access to local consumers who may not know you carried specific product lines. b. Better visibility to consumer needs with analytics provided from local search of your geographic area and product lines. c. Increased direct sales thru ShopVillages website and pull-thru sales from increased foot traffic. d. Lower cost of customer acquisition (compared to eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Groupon)

4. What benefits does the local customer get to drive them to my store? a. The customer gets to support their local business b. Access to their local store’s inventories and local product options c. Price comparisons d. Transaction choices (online, pickup at store, delivery, shipment)

5. What makes ShopVillages different/unique from other platforms? - ShopVillages will simplify shopping between local business and consumers. This allows consumers to support their community and boost the local economy and also helps stores market to potential new customers in their own backyard. ShopVillages will only provide services to the businesses that have a physical presence (store, manufacturing plant or office) in our communities. There are no “virtual” stores on ShopVillages.

Locally owned Brick and Mortar stores and the Locavore Shopper that wants to purchase locally, get locally sourced products and services. This is a two ended target market with local stores and local consumers.

soft Green and soft blue are supposedly representative of money and trust. I think a third color could be added if it is cleverly done. I'm open to the professional's interpretations on color. I

I had no original thought on this outside of getting an open sourced picture of downtown Bath, Maine, turned it into a pencil sketch on photoshop, and plopped it into a setting of two letters. Yeah.. Kinda lame.
