Parent Leadership in State Government is a parent leadership training program offered by the State of Michigan. Its purpose is to recruit, train and mobilize parent volunteers across the state, and empower parents to have a voice in the policies and programs that affect their families. Communities Leading Together is the name of a new training program we are developing that will be a shared leadership program. This means that teams of parents and professional who work together will attend together as a team. We want a logo for Communities Leading Together.

Communities Leading Together should be the main theme of the logo, that is the name of the training we are trying to promote. Parent Leadership in STate Government does not have to even be in the logo

Our target audience is government and community agencies that work with families. We target parents of children ages birth-21 who receive some sort of service from the state. Our participants come from a wide variety of backgrounds and geographic locations.
