Logo contest: NYX VODKA

What we do:

NYX is a new vodka company that is needing a new logo for launch. We are a clean slate and open to all modern yet simple style designs that will grab the attention of everyone it comes in contact with. Anything Eye catching, bold, simple, and will have a good fit on a clear style vodka bottle will be entertained!

Target market for NYX is restaurants, bars, clubs, liquor stores, casinos and any other outlet where we can distribute a high class vodka within the United States initially.

We are open to all ideas, but had originally thought of a thin style black lettering with pictorial mark (possibly in a separate color).

**NOTE**: I just updated the attached PDF after seeing the first few submissions contained "NVX" instead of "NYX", which is the correct lettering. The original PDF layout was done for style/initial concept layout by someone local and a 'V' was used instead of a 'Y'. The correct name of the vodka and logo should be NYX and that is what you will see on the PDF as of now. Sorry for the confusion!

-The Bottle we are using will be clear, so a logo that will pop when placed on a clear bottle are best. -NYX means "Greek God/Goddess of night" and that is the theme. Ideas we had originally include: -roman numeral style text, -a Pegasus icon, Greek God/Goddess Vector style Silhouette, -Text could be horizontal/vertical as the logo will be on a typical, Vodka type bottle. -The word "vodka" may or may not be used, depending on design. -Foreign (Greek) textual characters can be used for secondary text/accents, but primary text needs to be read-able in english to display the characters "NYX"
