Logo contest: Net Convergence

Here are some helpful tips for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses.

1. Rank design entries daily, this will encourage participation. It is non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
2. The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see (you can do so by clicking on the logo you want to give feedback to). It will also guide the designers in the right direction.
3. Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
4. Designers earn points for top 10 ranked designs. We recommend ranking different designers for top ranks, It encourages more participation.

We are looking to avoid Red. Blues and warm colors are fine still. We want to make the "N" Icon be more part of the Net. So "N" et convergence. We'd like to see the "N" interact with the rest of the logo. A swosh or a tail or something.

Ranking: #11, the symbol is our favorite so far. It's distinct and bold. #9, Very unique take on the "N" they Check mark hidden inside is nice, but could be more pronounced. #15, Icon is very clean and established. It's a little too simple and not as eye catching, but a good concept. #17, is a copy of what we have. It looks really good, but we are looking to make something new. However it's very clean, and doing something more with the Icon could be really interesting. It is a good example of how the Icon should interact with the name.

We've got a lot of really great submissions! All your designs have been looked over and we are trying to respond where we can. We are seeing some parts of designs come through that we are really enjoying, and we want to point these out so you can use them for further submissions. By rank including number: #126, we really think this is the best overall layout when everything is put together. It has the N as a logo, put into the word Net. The style of this submission matches close to how we would present it on a card. #45, we really like the N logo here. It is unique and catches the eye. It also integrates the colors great together throughout the whole design. #138, The N here will work alone, which is what we want. This submission works well as a card as well. The Slogan being the center focus, flush against the whole width against the bottom. #129 We think this is the color scheme we want, but we still want to try a couple others. The Dark Navy Blue especially. Accent color here is nice, but changable. #140, The C N logo is very nice, easy to turn into a bullet point and very brandable. We still want to see more style, but this is coming along well. #120, We really like the Arrow from the G pointing at the slogan. Adds a lot to bring it all together. We want to see the G arrow in more designs. #115 Logo here is unique, and eye catching. We'd like to see it changed to be able to use the N as a character more. #166, very nice N logo style here. This is how we would be using it. Good example. To recap: We like the G arrow a lot. An arrow from G pointing to to the slogan. We like Dark Navy Blue as a color, with a bright accent. N needs to be the logo focus, and an example with it being used in the word Net.

We are on the last days of the contest, and are wanting to see new ideas that are way outside the box of what we have now. If you have a design that you think doesn't fit what we've asked for, we'd love to see it. We want to see designs that Convey we are an I.T. Company, but other than that free reign.
