Here are some helpful tips for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses.

1. Rank design entries daily, this will encourage participation. It is non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
2. The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see (you can do so by clicking on the logo you want to give feedback to). It will also guide the designers in the right direction.
3. Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
4. Designers earn points for top 10 ranked designs. We recommend ranking different designers for top ranks, It encourages more participation.

i feel it would b more convenient to have the comments in private...

I like having the comments public because that way everyone can benefit from the feedback. But maybe I'm missing something; what exactly do you mean by more convenient?

You are using this General comment area correctly, mavaso. Comments which apply to all designers and entries are well placed here whereas comments which apply only to a specific design or designer may be posted to the individual designer's page.

I've had some feedback from some of my clients and they're telling me that as purchasers of my IT services they're not very fond of the cartoon like logos that I've been asking for. Personally I'm very fond of penguins in 54 & 53.

My customers are saying that it would make more sense to have a logo that doesn't imply any particular technology...like the penguins & clouds imply. They say that it makes more sense to have more of a corporate logo that is technology agnostic, so when the trends change, I don't have to create a new logo. This makes sense, but I'm still on the fence, mainly because I'm so fond of the entries ranked #1 & #2.

So at this point, if you have extra time and wouldn't mind submitting a more traditional logo that isn't very cartoony and doesn't have a penguin or a cloud, please do.
