Logo contest: MathematiGals

What we do:

We are a nonprofit organization of female upper school students (high school students) who visit lower school (elementary school) girls to teach them fun math concepts not typically taught in a traditional classroom. We help show girls math and science can be fun at a young age to help pique their interest in these topics. Our goal is to help lessen the discrepancy between males and females in science, technology, engineering, and math. Many of the schools we teach at are in a low income neighborhood or otherwise economically disadvantaged.

We are open to different color and design ideas. We do not have a preconceived ideas.

Please include our name "MathematiGals" with the logo design or incorporate the name into the logo. When designing the logo please consider that it will mainly be used in color but sometimes it might be used in black and white forms. We will be launching a website soon so think about the logo being used online as well as in our printed materials.
