Top Three Things to Communicate through our Logo:
#1 - Fun!
#2 - Warm weather outdoor lifestyle
#3 - Can-do yet laid-back attitude
Our Target Market:
LIS's target market is best described as the fun, easy-going crowd; the young and young at heart. Our market lives on the mindset that life is only one spin around the carousel, and it's not to be wasted spent in stuffy dress clothes and sitting in cubicles for 5/7 of the week. Work is a means to an end, but not the end itself. Our market spends their lives outdoors; snorkeling in the Caribbean, hiking trails in the tropics, or maybe just BBQ-ing in the backyard with a cold beverage. TV, what's that? They escape the cold every chance they get, if they even live there at all. Our market is physically active and they take care of themselves. They also take care of the planet because future generations should get to enjoy its beauty. Our market believes: life is shorts!

1. We really are looking for the logo to include a pictoral mark - perhaps even the mark being able to stand on its own at some point (i.e. - embroidered on a golf shirt without the text).
2. We would like to see the text be a little more bold and using the colors that we specified.
Just to slightly clarify and expand on our previous comment: Regarding the pictoral mark, we would like to ask if you could steer it towards being primarily a pair of shorts (but definitely don't lose the "fun" aspect). For colors, please use the ones we originally described, and also more towards the pastel (brighter and bolder) shades.
Just some general comments - really like the color scheme used in parts of #1 and #4 above. The yellows, greens, blues are great. Also we like the text to be in a single line and all lowercase to emphasize the casual feel of the brand.
General feedback for the day - I spent today getting some RGB codes for the colors that we really like. If you all could incorporate them, it would be awesome.
Wow, so many of you guys kicked it up a notch today and produced some awesome work. It made ranking REALLY tough. Thank you all SO much for your hard work. Apologies that we cannot comment to each of you for your efforts.
