Color preferences:
I wouldn't want too much color, though some is fine. Mainly, it needs to be compatible with the existing organization's logo (JITI at http://japantransport.com/). Feel free to experiment with a subdued palette.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
My very schematic attempt to demonstrate what I had in mind when I first thought up the logo is attached.
If possible, I would like to see the deliverable in two versions. One as the whole logo, inclusive of the current JITI logo and the "intersections" piece. The other would be the original JITI artwork and the new piece separately so that we can flexibly move things around depending on whatever kind of publication we produce in the future.

Hello, all. Thank you for the two submissions so far. Two points for clarification.
1) I would to see just he short form of the organization's name: and JITI.
2) The logo must include "Intersection Series" as text within the logo. This logo will be used to brand the "Intersection Series" as a separate program from another similar line, so it is important to include it.
