What we do: I work as a narrator/voice over artist. In my logo want to AVOID symbols like musicnotes, headphones or microphones - they seem to me oldfashioned. I like the colours magenta in combination with gray...but i´m open to other colours.

i think the "FP" stands a bit loose from the right part of the logo...the logo ist perhaps a bit too "simple". To give a bit orientation, i attached some logo-examples to my profile.
Arial is a nice font. I prefer classic styles like Copperplate, etc. A classic design, that stands for quality and adulty values...i hope that helps a bit :-)

Perhaps the magenta (pink) could be darker...perhaps the left side of the logo (the symbol) could be on different places ?

But right now i have so many suggestions with symbols made out of my Letters "F" and "P"...perhaps you could do some suggestions with other symbols ?
