Company name: FaithFlo
Slogan: grow with the flo
What we do:
FaithFlo is an online faith-based community that provides a privacy-protected platform for those who want to freely express their spiritual beliefs, seek spiritual support and activities, and otherwise connect with other Christians, near and far, day after day. In essence, FaithFlo is the Facebook and LinkedIn for Christian believers.

Think of the reflection of water and ripples in the water for flo. Will try to attach image if possible.
Our industry: Religious
Top Three Things to Communicate through our Logo:
#1 - Ethereal/Spiritual- have a comforting and calming aspect to it that exudes peace and nurturing (consider softness with a warm glow).
#2 - Holy- ok with subtly application of religious iconography like a fish, a dove, a cross, an olive branch, a halo, sun rays, or even the trinity — unique is better but must be recognizable— stay away from things that are completely overused. Look up Christi
#3 - Fresh- the African-American community is entrenched in trendsetting in every arena in which they congregate or flourish (fashion, music, sports) and churches are full of such members. The logo must be reflective of change/newness and not the status quo
Our Target Market:
1. Primarily, the logo must attract…
Faith Followers— African-American Christian females ages 25-40
2. Secondarily, the logo must not alienate …
Ministry Leaders — African-American males 25-55

Color preferences:
Colors: Although colors are secondary for this exploration, crisp, fresh colors will enhance the selection as opposed to the dull, muddy colors of earth tones. Consider fresh greens, blue hues and oranges, as combined with gold or silver (grays). Still focus is on the logo and not colors.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
Primary Usage: App (to be downloaded from tablets and smart phones). Logo must reduce to a 16x16 or 32/32pixels. Will likely use the letters “FF” to represent the app logo also known as a favicon.
• Please show logo (FaithFlo) one word and two but always be sure to visually separate both words (with space or with color).
• When designing the 2 F’s consider that they will likely become the Favicon (the abbreviated logo used for the app) so the letter forms will be very important.
Type/Fonts: Contemporary versus trendy and overly traditional. Consider friendly san-serifs. BIG Hint: The 2 F’s can be the same Serif font for example, and the tagline/slogan can pick up the serif font used on the F’s)
Remember the logo needs to also communicate this:
Social- should have some aspect of interactivity and connection to other like-minded people and networked communities

Consider Network icons combined with Christian icons and this would yield something amazing.
