Aloha KanDo, Thanks for the design example #1. I can see how this would work for someone. I was hoping to incorporate the picture(s) I submitted with the addition of a palm tree, ocean and sunshine. I'm looking for a logo that has the excitement of an extreme sport. For reference, when the water looks like that there is not enough wind for me to bother rigging up. The person faces the kite unless they are doing a trick. In which case there would be a cross in the lines. The bar has a right and left side: the left is designated by the lighter color. The kites I use are red. I usually wear an orange shirt and I want to trademark myself. Thanks for helping me hone in on a design.

oh! one question. Freestyle or Race boad for the logo?

Aloha Tahia, Awesome, your husband kites. I see you are from Argentina. I believe Vari kites are from there. They come to Maui to test their kites. I provided a pdf and jpeg which show the picture that I would like to use and one has a font that feel like its moving. I think the jpeg shows the colors that I wear: blue shorts, red kite,orange shirt and board, my bar is red on the left and black on the right. I answer to your question of what board do I want, I mostly ride and teach freestyle and surf.

I want the logo to feel like Maui: warm, tropical, sunshine, palm trees and a blue ocean.

I would like the logo to say "Complete Kite Boarding" and "Maui, Hawaii." One slogan I might use is, "Get schooled on Maui." The logo also needs my webpage (that isn't active yet) completekiteboarding.com

I guess I should say that I want to use the image provided (my avatar). But I would like it in the colors that the color jpeg provide has. I tried to make a professional logo but I couldn't add in the sunshine with a beautiful blue ocean and some palm trees so I am seeking help.

Yes, VARI kites are argentinian. Martin Vari was one of the fisrt kitesurfers in my country, and world champion. My husband ended 3rd in Argentina Championship last year (race).

Thanks for Nat for doing the combined design. I woke up and checked my computer and you're new logo was there :) It addressed every change I asked too! I like it a lot. I can't wait to see the new one you are working on too. I have a feeling it will be like choosing between a chocolate mouse with raspberries or a chocolate ganache with blueberries.

I've been showing the design and people like it. But many are saying that it would make a better t-shirt design than a logo. A logo needs to be simpler, less busy. Any thoughts?
