<p>This is a center affiliated with the university of Florida.  It uses huge amounts of data to analyze drug effects in real-world populations after drugs are approved and marketed. Oftentimes, such analyses find unknown diseases effects or groups of patients in who the drug does not work as expected. The science is called Pharmacoepidemiology and it combines epidemiological methods (i.e., ways to analysis was causes disease in populations) with pharmacology (i.e., the study how drugs work). </p>
