Babysetup.com.au is an online business

We don’t want the logo to fall into the category of ‘just another online baby shop’ as Babysetup.com.au has a point of difference being:

Most first time Mum’s know they need the big items eg cot, pram, highchair and they physically want to see and touch those big items before purchasing them - and this is why we won't be selling those items.

However most first time Mum’s have NO idea what little items will be needed once the baby arrives eg creams, wipes, nappies, breast pads, maternity pads, dummies etc. First time expecting mothers are also unsure of the best Brands to use as they haven’t even changed a nappy before their baby arrives.

Babysetup.com.au takes away the guess work (saving money as the parents won’t buy things they will never use) and the physical last minute running around for all the ‘bits & bobs’.

Babysetup.com.au packages and delivers the best brands we used and highly recommend. These products will enable the nursery to run smoothly.

Babysetup.com.au has worked out the list of products that will be needed, packages the products and delivers them within 24 hours of payment.

Our Target Market: 1st - Pregnant women under 40 years of age

2nd - Friends and Family of pregnant women – Babysetup.com.au will be given as a gift eg. Baby showers/Grandparents gift

3rd - Corporate Market – for employers looking for a gift for their employees going on Maternity Leave

We would like to stick to only a few colours no more than three to four and red would be a preferred colour or at least in the mix of colours, we are open to suggestions.

However we do not want pastel colours - we want 'bright' colours like found in the 'ebay' and 'google' logo's.

We would need the logo to also work in mono in case it’s needed in the future.

Ideally we would like a graphic that describes our business. Hopefully the graphic would be strong enough that eventually we would be able to drop the wording ‘Babysetup.com.au’ as the graphic would identify the business (like the ‘tick’ for Nike… the ‘apple’ for Mac… the ‘golden arches’ for McDonalds etc).

We require the logo to have an ‘image graphic’ with the wording ‘Babysetup.com.au’

The logo needs to target pregnant women under the age of 40, however we don’t want to fall into the ‘cheesey’, ‘tacky’ type logo of a stork (for example) and no pastel colours - we want bright colours (eg - colours used in 'ebay' and 'google' logos).

We are hoping the logo will explain the business (and the point of difference). We want the logo to be creative, funky, energy, modern/contemporary and to stand out from all the other ‘baby pastel’ logos in the marketplace.

Please Note: We will not be selling prams/cots/car-seats/highchairs/bassinets/change-tables so these images can not be in our logo.

Limit the logo to a small file size, say less than 10kb, we are conscious of the bigger the file, the slower the page will download, so please only use a few bright colours keeping in mind a minimize file size

Use colours that are ‘web safe’ (don’t mix) so they will be supported by all browsers, and this will almost ensure everyone sees your logo.

And as mentioned above no pastel colours (we want to stand out from all the other baby business logos - bright colours).

NO animated logos.
