Logo contest: Ashland Operating Company

What we do:

Oil & gas company involved in exploration & production (E&P) by drilling and operating wells and buying oil & gas leases.

Other exploration and service companies as well as individuals, partnerships, trusts and holding companies who own mineral interests (these are the people we approach to lease the land).

Open to lots of color combos. Oil wells are generally a particular color of green, and gas wells are red - just fyi - buy don't really need to use those colors.

Of the above, i probably like the Worldmark best. But I am in NO way an artistic person and generally end up liking something I would never of thought of or dreamed up.

I like the color contrast of the FedEx logo.

Blue, yellow, brown, black - open to many, many colors - just want a cool/unique logo.
