Company name: Advanced Visual Production
Slogan: Sound.Lighting.Video.Design
What we do:
AVP provides the technology behind events. We are a full-service audio-visual company that designs and produces tightly integrated multimedia events ranging from small corporate meetings up to arena-scale concerts and sporting events. We are designers, technicians, and problem solvers. We provide pre, live, and post produced video and media design in support of these events, as well as for studio customers directly. Finally, our experience in the high-stress environment of event production gives us expertise at selecting and implementing equipment for permanent installations in venues such as churches, theaters, and other event spaces.
Our industry: Events
Top Three Things to Communicate through our Logo:
#1 - Brand Identity. The AVP name is well known and respected in our area. THE OUTLINE OF OUR LOGO IS IMPORTANT TO US, despite the "alien vs predator" connection. (We've been around longer than they have.) We would like to retain our identity while modernizing
#2 - Professionalism, with an edge. We are clean cut professionals with an extreme emphasis on reliability, timeliness, and professionalism. But our staff is young, we're fun to work with, and we like to push the envelope with big, bold presentation. Our custo
#3 - Technical competence. When our customers hire us, our staff and our technology solutions will dependably support their event.
Our Target Market:
Our most important customer is the event planner for large corporate events such as product rollouts and sales conferences. But with a full suite of services, we want to be accessible to bands looking for promo videos, wedding planners looking for lighting design, merchants associations hosting street festivals, etc. This is tricky about our particular service: we support others in delivering their message to an audience. So anyone who has an audience is our customer.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:
Again, staying true to our brand identity is important. We are looking to evolve, modernize, update, enhance, or add to our logo, not to wholesale replace it. Our company is 25 years old, with thousands of customers who recognize our current identity. We're open to incorporating new elements or removing old ones; we're open to change. We don't love the current logo. But we do need to somehow incorporate the basic concept, shape, or outline into something new.
