Top Three Things to Communicate through our Logo:

#1 - Light (Nur means "light")

#2 - Financing for your home (icon of house or building might be an idea)

#3 - The house or buliding could also be an islamic structure (mosque, minaret, etc) but not necessarily

Our Target Market:

ages 18-55 (anyone in the position of buying a home or needed a loan)

customers will most probably be Muslim / islamic background

customers from Canada, for the most part (but no need for the logo to be canadian-centric)

company is in the financial services/products industry

Abstract Mark

Emblems

Pictorial Mark

Color preferences:

The overall color should be green in nature.

The logo has to look and feel like it belongs on this page: http://nurcoop.com. (It will replace the current logo in the top left)

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

Should have some sort of "light" (or sun or flame or radiance or shine) and a building (a house or apartment or mosque or something that signifies home purchases) .. the building can be very light on details (a few brushstrokes, some simple lines) -- something elegant and not too busy.

Rank design entries daily, this will encourage participation. It is non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work. The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see (you can do so by clicking on the logo you want to give feedback to). It will also guide the designers in the right direction. Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation. Designers earn points for top 10 ranked designs. We recommend ranking different designers for top ranks, It encourages more participation. annur Canada Contest holder	April 14th, 2011, 1:12pm Management has decided that they would prefer a green (rich, forest green) background, hence the major change in rankings. Thank you to everyone who has submitted so far, and if your logos can be adapted to that, then great! But it's understandable if that is too much to change. Also generic lines/designs are better than specific house/building... Thanks.
